I didn't know Tyson Fury worked on the pleasure beach @3:20
Didn't Southport pleasureland have one of these?
Yes this is it. Got relocated to dreamland. Was made in 1914
Thanks for posting without any choking of cymbal. Finally a drummer who has the intelligence to let a cymbal resonate as it was designed, and a free movement cymbal will never crack or dent either.
Mitsubishi should somehow convinced FIA to used Lancer Evo until the end of season instead of using this POS.
JR was a legend cool as a cucumber ran the park smoothly no messing
is he still alive
@@stuartwemyss4335I believe he is, he retired at the end of the 2004 season.

I love this ride. I used to ride it from when I was 5 years old back in 1976 in Clacton Pier.
Supposed to be more hammering or lathe than regular ZBT? I had zbt Plus set, also Sabian had Sabian B8 Pro around the same time. I only had the Sabian pro 10 splash like forever, it didn't crack in almost a decade.
Rode this at an adventure park near me it was much shorter but music and lights was fun
Thank you for a great profile. Reliable audio Edit: today is may 17 2023

Yeah that new Mitsubishi proved disastrous because that new car didn’t produce makinen anymore wins as he did with the old Mitsubishi
She’s hilarious, formidable, strong, intelligent and a bloody grafter this woman. I have absolute respect for her passion and commitment. If you haven’t seen her in interviews and on social media she’s very prominent in everything she does and she’s a huge force too.
She isn't going to shag you mate
exactly! she works so hard keeping the whole Pleasure Beach resort running, a true legend
Tommi at 14:14: Perkele (and something else in Finnish) Poor Tommi and Mitsubishi even if I am Sainz fan.
He's complaining that the engine cuts off when the revs drop (under hard braking).
Insane to think that Tommi finished 3rd in championship with that car and those pains. Absolute legend.
I think that's also because the top 4 basically refused to score points at the final 4 events. Prior to Wales Richard scored 8 points, Carlos 3 and Tommi and Colin 1 and 2 respectively.
What would happen in Australia if Tommi chosed Kaj Lindström as his co-driver?
Hantunen said in finnish podcast, he don't want continue with tommi, he replaced mannisenmäki in one rally and that's it.
he looks like a Finnish Rubens Barrichelo
If Tommi settled for 2nd in Sweden he would definitely won the championship.
Why were the wrc cars 4 stud and the road cars 5 stud?
thanks for uploading, great stuff
What baffles me is that, even though Makinen had a pretty decent lead of the championship, Mitsubishi thought a new car was nesacerry. Maybe it was pressure from the FIA to have a WRC spec car, or maybe Mitsubishi wanted to showcase their facelifted car, or perhaps a combination of the two. This is a sport, not a 3 day long ad break, and people who make poor desicions like this will be punished. Makinen had the title in the bag if he used the old car, thanks to McRae's catahstrof**k at the Rally Australia (not being in on time to choose road position as championship leader). Granted, the Gr.A car wasn't the fastest, but Tommi took advantage of tricky rallies like Monaco and Kenya and Portugal to give him a big lead. There wasn't any more rallies that were very slippy or car breakers, but surely the old car wouldv'e gotten the 4 points Tommi needed to win.
Yes there was a lot of pressure coming from the FIA but still i wouldn't have let the car race without knowing it's true potential being a team principal. It was stupid...I'm amazed they didn't find these problems during testing
@@marfrandema1884 I think 2001 was basically the beginning of the downfall for Mitsubishi as a whole. With the ending of the FTO coupe a year before, the only two cars left to get excited about were the Eclipse and the Lancer Evo. Of course, the Pajero was succsesful in Dakar, especially with Hiroshi Masuoka behind the wheel, but no victories came after 2007. Meanwhile in WRC the factory team never recovered from the awful Lancer WRC (The 05 model looks sick though) and I think only managed one podium with an excellent drive from Hari Rovanpera, often overshadowed by the equally as good McRae drive. The Eclipse ended the dawn of the 2nd decade of the millena, and now they just churn out millions of crossovers :( would the Mitsubishi of 1996 bow down to the FIA like it did in 2001. Probably not. The horrible Lancer WRC made Tommi, the man that practically carried the entire Mitsubishi brand (Mitsubishi built cars especially for Makinen with his aggresive left foot braking style, which explains why only a driver of Richard Burn's quality could even get close to him) and it was probably the only way they knew how to build cars. A bit like the situation Red Bull F1 find themselves in. If Verstappen was to leave tommorow, they'd be f***d, since they build the cars for him. Overall they are dying a slow and painful death, as I can't imagine a reason why Renault would continue to financially support them.
@@gigadonis8684 I wish well to Mitsu but the last decade was a DISASTER for them...they lost the evo, ralliart, etc. But there are some slightly positive news cause they want to go back racing (likely dakar) and they are bringing back ralliart. Sadly no more sports cars as they can't afford them... To me it looks as if the old CEO was the reason behind the brand current disastrous state.
@@marfrandema1884 I guess there is hope... However to enter WRC (or almost any rally category for that matter) they would need an entirely new car. Their only chance before was the Space Star (very good car on DiRT Rally 2.0 btw) but they dropped it. Dakar could be cool though (they have literally 4 SUV's to choose from lmao), shame it doesn't actually go to Dakar anymore.
The FIA forced them to build a WRC
i had one of this as present for christmas back when i was 11 or 12, i learned to play in one of those starter kit :D in 2010 I've got a stage custom birch, i put my old drum kit in the yamaha boxes, and i still keep it :D :D

Yeah that crash in Corsica was massive for makinen
This ride used to scare me to death. Going over the large blowing machines and when it slowed down I was so frightened. Still don’t think I would go on it now 😂😂

Do you plan to film the other 3 profiles?
Makinen's name rhymes with Hakkinen but when he talks he sounds like Raikkonen
Smokes like Salonen and drifts like Toivonen and crosses the line like kankunen
CP9A 1998 - 2000 was the best years for mitsubishi under Makinen. Sad to see him go. Once they moved the platform to the cedia it was lights out for me. I wish I never got rid of my Evo 5
1:32 I like this onboard camera view. You can see the road and half of the driver and co-driver.
Thanks for the Upload. That car made Makinen to change team to Subaru. I think that the mayor flaw of the car was to use WRC Specs suspension but if we see the engine is basically the one of the Group A engine era. The Lancer WRC04 & WRC05 the engine bay looks more proper to a WRC Spec Car
What about the engine bay made it not wrc spec?
@@kiweeltyler3586 if you compare the engine bay of the Group A Lancer Evo 6 TME, Lancer Evolution 7 WRC and the Lancer WRC04/05 the Evo 6 and 7 will have the same engine bay and design, compared to newer Lancer WRC. When the Lancer WRC04 the car design was on the limit of the regulations
@@pedrolmaldonado1554 That whole car was underdeveloped, also Ralliart would have had to make up 3-4 years of experiance compared to Subaru, Ford, Peugeot, etc. As far as similarities go, the Evo WRC was basically the same as the 6.5, with the transmission being the biggest hindrance of the car. It also didn't help that they went with a bigger car when basically every other team went for smaller ones...
Yeah they shouldn't change the platform. He is easily comfortable in VI and still is more than capable to win. This car made him lost 01 title. Shame.
@@radityaindera3442 they had to, it was part of their agreement with FIA when they got permission to still use and very much overstep Gr. A rules with the Evo 6.5 for the 2001 season.

Not Lancer Evo 7. Lancer Evo WRC (World Rally Car)
based on the evo VII visualy
@@strahinjastevic7480 Actually the car is originally based on a Lancer Cedia model. The Evo VII that we all can buy (either RS or GSR) is a homologation specials. You can refer to homologation documents that FIA has put up on their website.

Wow! That certainly looks like an old Traver style caterpillar. The cover on these is actually mechanically driven and when the ride gets fast enough, it automatically closes. As shown, when the ride comes to a stop, it automatically opens. Obviously this was the predecessor to the Musik Express / Himalaya rides.
Can’t be, music express is at M&D’s aka scotlands theme park and it doesn’t have the cover but you can see where the cover was.

@@boshbash9137 1914, huh? Definitely before the Traver Caterpillars (1919), but Traver did start building rides in 1903. It would seem, then, that his Caterpillar was based on this one.
Absolute shocker of a car.
Apparently my great grandmother used to take the money for this ride in the 1960s. I’ve been on it once and loved it!
Do you know why these are so much cheaper than the regular A custom hats?
They should have been priced the same originally. But these were discontinued back in 2009, so that's probably why you're seeing the cheaper price.
